The Heroes Keep
A cozy haven for adventurers since 1392
The Heroes Keep has stood at the crossroads of the kingdom for over 200 years, offering shelter, sustenance, and stories to all who pass through our doors.
Our Founding
Founded by retired adventurer Thaddeus Oakenheart in 1392, our tavern has witnessed the rise and fall of kingdoms, hosted heroes and villains alike, and survived wars, plagues, and the occasional dragon attack.
Legend has it that Thaddeus built the tavern using timber from an ancient elven forest and stone from the dwarven mountains. The central hearth was blessed by a traveling cleric, ensuring that its flames would never fail to warm weary travelers.
Present Day
Today, the tavern is run by Thaddeus's great-granddaughter, Eliza Oakenheart, who maintains the traditions of hospitality while adding her own flair to our legendary menu.
Under Eliza's guidance, the Heroes Keep has expanded to include our gaming halls, private themed rooms, and a collection of artifacts from famous adventurers who have passed through our doors over the centuries.
Our Promise
Whether you're a weary traveler seeking respite, a local looking for good company, or an adventurer in search of your next quest, you'll find a warm welcome at The Heroes Keep.
Our hearth is always warm, our ale is always cold, and our doors are always open to those with tales to tell and adventures to share.
